Dear Neighbor,
My name is Amy Thompson, and I’m running for Springdale City Council in District 4. For the past 15 years, I’ve been proud to call Springdale home. As a small business owner, a mentor to local students, and a volunteer with our schools, swim team, and church, I’ve built my life around helping others thrive. That same commitment is at the heart of my campaign.

First, I want to bring a fresh perspective.
As a mother in a biracial household, a business owner who’s navigated city codes, and an active member of our community, I understand the importance of representation. I’ll work to strengthen public services and make sure our schools have access to the resources they need to succeed.

Second, I want to attract new businesses.
Vacant storefronts are missed opportunities. I’ll partner with the Planning Commission and regional companies to bring fresh investment into Springdale, while promoting existing tax incentives that encourage growth in our commercial corridors.

Third, I want to empower voters.
Every resident deserves a voice. I’ll make sure people have clear information about registration, election dates, and local programs like home improvement grants. I’ll also meet with churches, schools, and community groups to listen and connect directly.

And finally, I want to improve how the city communicates with you.
Too often, decisions are made without enough community input. I’ll use online tools, surveys, and regular updates to ensure every resident can stay informed and engaged.

At the end of the day, this campaign is about you. It’s about leadership that listens, welcomes fresh ideas, and puts people first.

On November 4, I humbly ask for your vote. “Together, we can make Springdale stronger.”

Sincerely,

Amy Thompson
